Andrew Steer, director of policy and research at the Department for International Development, gave his full commitment and support to a Help the Aged campaign for Pensions not Poverty. He was speaking at the launch of the Help the Aged campaign in London on 16th May.
Also in attendance at the event was Thoko Molefe from Help the Aged's South African affiliate, Muthande Society for the Aged.
Copies of the main Pensions not Poverty report, written by ngo.media, were on display at the launch event. Representatives from development agencies also had the opportunity to watch a campaign film featuring Bill Bryson for which we wrote the script.
